The Conservative Marxist (TCM) is an opinion blog with a left-wing but pragmatic point of view.

The name is intentionally contradictory. It reflects the basic idea behind the project: take class, power, inequality, and public institutions seriously, but stay grounded in reality. No ideological purity tests. No empty political branding. No pretending that good intentions are the same thing as good policy.
